I have 2 kids ages 6 and 8 and run a home daycare. The mess overwhelms me at times and especially during pms I want to burn the house down and start from scratch. I am pretty good at organizing, but I HATE cleaning. I have 5-6 kids in my house from 6:30am-5-6pm most days. My husband got me a laptop for christmas and it is a huge distraction and time waster. It is right here on the kitchen counter.. Maybe I need to banish it away from 6am-8pm and leave it upstairs.......Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7708559980573648047.post-43519629390323822392009-05-12T11:03:00.000-07:002009-05-12T11:03:00.000-07:00Thanks! I don't drink coffee and I don't like their chai so I have no real reason to frequent. Maybe this time Karinda's since I believe it was her FB comment that reminded me of the laundry at all.

Yes, I do need to wipe counters and do dishes but I also need to stop cooking anything more complicated than grilled cheese because I swear everything takes me 3 years longer to cook than normal people.Henniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13619441212339613269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7708559980573648047.post-76581275710044525412009-05-12T07:39:00.000-07:002009-05-12T07:39:00.000-07:00Sounds like you did it Jennifer! Hungry kids are a disaster. After that, have Elijah clear the table? Zoe is too young to help in the kitchen, but she (and he) can play in their rooms while you either a) wipe down the table and pile the dishes in the sink, if you will actually get to them later, or just get them right in the dishwasher, wipe everything down (you already put the foodstuffs away while you cooked), run it, sweep, spring the kids, and sit and watch SpongeBob while you fold laundry. They can help with wash cloths and hand towels, if you can handle them being crooked (I can't). So you've fed them, cleaned, and spent quality time watching a show together, plus folded laundry. Your next move? Optional. You can either watch a real movie, during which time you can rotate at least one full load of laundry, or pass out. :)Cheyennehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14330617564728468671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7708559980573648047.post-14662535621162826152009-05-11T14:31:00.000-07:002009-05-11T14:31:00.000-07:00I'd love to know what you suggest I do upon gettin...I'd love to know what you suggest I do upon getting home with 2 small hungry kiddos...
