Your mission, should you choose to accept it, and I'm ordering you to, is to do absolutely nothing today, or as little as possible. If you're making your mom an elaborate dinner, obviously you can't go wielding your Moxieclean Get Out of Jail Free Card, but you can certainly ask your partner to clean the kitchen.
Today isn't about you, the domestic mama, it's about you, the hardest-working-woman-in-the-world mama. So forget about cleaning (no, I haven't hit my head), relax, accept any and all offers of help, from anyone (Megan, I'm shouting this extra loud to you), and know that we'll return to the battlefield tomorrow, together, triumphant.

ReplyDeleteYesterday I loaded dishwasher, picked up my living room, wiped counters, did a few loads of laundry and wiped my bathroom counters and toilet while my daughter took a bath!
Ooh, using bath-time to clean the bathroom is such a great idea! I'm going to try that one. :)
